Pet Project

As if we don't have enough going on, we have taken on a pet project. A co-worker sent out a plea requesting that someone adopt their 11 year old Labrador because they were about to have twins and didn't think they could handle the stress of this old girl.
Jasmine is looking for a forever home.
They said she had lots of bad behaviors. I generally believe that dog behaviors are 99% the product of the environment, so I jumped right in, and said I'd take this elderly lab for a week to evaluate the situation and also try to find her a forever home. We can't take her due to the fact we already have two and as you can see in the picture below, we have our hands full.  Turns out Jasmine is a sweetheart. Not a single bad behavior to be found so far! She wasn't being walked, so I immediately started walking her, and she's as passive and sweet as can be. All she needed was exercise and attention. Stay tuned to see if we can find her a home.
